Gavity feed filtration
I am very new to this so be gentle LOL
I drive a gas truck at this time but have axcess to fryer grease in plastic jugs and am looking into getting a diesel truck .
I work for a constuction company ; so have barrels available .
I was thinking of setting up two barrels with a pipe between them at the half full point and a valve and filter in the pipe .
If I fill the first barrel and then leave it to settle for a week . them open the valve between the barrels I am thinking this should filter out any water by leaving the water in the bottom of the first barrel .along with any fines .
This would be by gravity alone .. And at room tempature ... And may not work very well ..
I have looked around on the site and see lots of stuff I have no idea what it is :)))
Thanks in advance

I missed that one. Another fascinating project from the miller labs.
Now I got to get some corn cobs to try it for fun.
And it just so happens I got some buckets on the trailer.
And a few jugs of oil someone left on the loading dock of a cat dealer. I get oil from the strangest places..
you can use corn cob, wood chips, sawdust, old blue jeans rags ect ect its just a prefilter

The simplest filtration method I've seen that works decently I described in this post (bottom post):
